What is new?

Catalogue:swisscovery RZS / (https://rzs.swisscovery.slsp.ch). The multi-layered architecture of the new library system allows uncomplicated searches and allows the user to switch between Swiss-wide and local collections - with swisscovery succeeding swissbib and swisscovery RZS (RZS = 'Region Zentralschweiz') succeeding iluplus. In order to easily access the licensed electronic resources, students and members of the University of Lucerne and the University of Teacher Education Lucerne now have their very own user view of swisscovery RZS at their disposal. This has been extended with tools that simplify remote access to e-media and allow access to technical essays with additional covers, direct downloads and links to the magazine content.

Borrowed media: All media borrowed in the old system can no longer be viewed or renewed online by users. However, reminders for returned media will still be sent out regularly. If the item is needed beyond the old return period, it must be returned to the library and borrowed again.

SLSP-Courier: It is now possible to order media to our libraries from a set number of libraries throughout Switzerland, via courier, for a fee of CHF 6 per medium. All newly applicable fees are listed here.
