Thanks to the optimised website, students can now find relevant content more easily – and access it directly via an app from their mobile phone’s home screen.

This summer, the unilu.ch website was enhanced with an improved search function and landing pages tailored to specific target groups. The “Current Students” landing page, for instance, provides direct access to important information about studying and university life. The content can be filtered by faculty, study programme and topic, with filters that can be saved. On your subsequent visits, content related to your chosen faculty and study programme will thus be displayed straight away.

The site is now also available as a web app, allowing users to access content directly from their smartphone’s home screen. This marks the first step towards developing a more comprehensive app, which will eventually be available via app stores.

To use the web app, simply visit the “Current Students” page and save it to your phone’s home screen. The first time you visit the page, a box with step-by-step instructions will appear. Alternatively, the page can be saved via the browser menu (Android) or the upload icon (Apple).
