Dear students,
Moving and advancing the human sciences – moving and inspiring with human sciences! These messages are conveyed by the motto 'Moving Human Sciences'. The motto aims to demonstrate the power and potential of the humanities, as they are the focus of the University of Lucerne. People and their institutions are at the centre, not only because of the university's subject matter, but also in the sense of being a personal university in daily interactions.
