CV

CEO at Ursimone Wietlisbach Foundation task with starting up a leading impact focused philanthropic organization in the areas of Health, Education & Sport.

Prior to this I set up over the past seven years, Fondation Botnar, a Swiss philanthropic foundation working to improve the health and wellbeing of young people living in cities around the world. Setting up the management office in 2017, I have been honoured to be leading the foundation in its development up to early 2024.

Prior to joining Fondation Botnar, I spent over 25 years working in leadership roles in Africa and Asia, focusing on health-related development for children, relief and advocacy work.

I previously held several board and advisory board memberships. These include at the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH), UBS Optimus Foundation, REPSSI in Africa, the Global Health Program and The Graduate Institute in Geneva, where I focused on the role of NGOs in global health diplomacy.

I strongly believe that compassionate leadership is key to creating long-lasting change. By nurturing leaders in the younger generation and allowing them the space to operate according to their purpose, we can find new, fairer ways of approaching problems, set clear goals, and work together to create a brighter future.
