Emma Beeston is an independent Philanthropy Advisor. She guides philanthropists, families and foundations to start giving and to develop their practice in ways that balance their values and interests with the needs of community partners. She is a member of the P150 philanthropy advisor network, the National Network of Consultants to Grantmakers, and a 21/64 Certified Advisor trained in facilitating multi-generational giving. Emma co-authored (with Beth Breeze) the first book about philanthropy advising, Advising Philanthropists: Principles and practice and teaches on masters programmes at the University of Kent and Bayes Business School. Emma believes anyone can be a philanthropist and is co-founder of a giving circle, Bath Women’s Fund.
