Dear member of the MOL
With the start of the semester, the university is once again in an atmosphere of departure. Even as a member of the Mittelbau, it's hard to escape: For many of us – whether firmly established or in a discovery phase ourselves – it feels like a small new beginning. Fitting to this feeling, the coming semester offers numerous opportunities to gain new experiences:
- The MOL Board is looking for a new member – a great opportunity to get actively involved in University politics.
- The Grants Office will support you with advice and assistance in acquiring third-party funding. Perhaps your next research project will start in this collaboration.
- Women* in Academia (W*iA) is offering a variety of events for young female academics this semester – possibly for the last time for a while, however, as the board is stepping down. Perhaps you would like to form a new one?
- Would you like to immerse yourself in the world of Open Science? The ZHB offers compact 60-minute online lunchtime courses.
- The campus offers a variety of modules to master RDM: deepen your expertise in research data management through keynotes, field reports and discussions.
- And don't forget: The MOL offers a wide variety of events this semester to exchange ideas and provide you with relevant knowledge. You can find the link to this semester's events below.
We wish you a semester full of new experiences and meaningful encounters!
Kind regards,
Your MOL Board Andrea Aegerter (non-faculty seat), Tess Bardy (GMF for VPF), Katharina Dölp (WF), Lea Keller (RF and Treasurer), Alexander Ort (GMF), Johannes Saal (KSF), Joshua Schibli (TF)
Looking for a new Board Member
The MOL board is seeking a new board member to join us effective immediately. Priority will be given to candidates from the Faculty of Economics and Management (WF). However, if no suitable candidate from WF can be found, any mid-level staff is eligible to take over the board seat. If you are interested, please reach out to us via molremove-this.@remove-this.unilu.ch.
