Dear members of the MOL
With today's mail we would like to draw your attention, among other things, to the results of the (re-)elections by circulation. As already announced, we cordially invite you to the public kick-off event of the announced working groups of the MOL. This will take place on Thursday, May 6, 2021 (5-6p.m.) via ZOOM. You can still register (see below). We are looking forward to seeing you!
With best regards Your MOL Board
Monika Plozza (RF), Naemi Jacob (WF), Noemi Honegger (TF), Sandra Gratwohl (KSF), Tanya Kasper Wicki (GWM)
In this section, MOL representatives or members of the board introduce themselves in order to give an insight into the many activities in which MOL members are involved.
Today in focus: Noemi Honegger, research associate and doctoral student at the Lucerne Graduate School in Ethics and board member of the MOL.
"As an ethicist, I am interested in institutions that enable people to flourish, be creative, and play to their strengths. Through my commitment to the MOL Board, I am not only part of an inspiring community of early career researchers, but I also feel institutionally anchored at the University of Lucerne, which allows me to have a political voice and help shape everyday academic life. I am committed to supporting mid-level faculty members so that exciting and diverse research projects can be realized."
Research funding: experiences, ideas and hints
Some of us are working on propositions on how the research commission FoKo of the University of Lucerne could better support the research done by MOL members. Your ideas, hints and testimonials are very welcome, as a contribution to our working document or by email to our FoKo representative, Philipp Blum.
