Last autumn, the starting signal was given for the development of a quality strategy and a new quality management system (QMS). The QMS is based on a manual that contains the guidelines of the quality strategy. The QMS manual is available together with further information on the QM website (in German).

The Quality Strategy and the QMS Manual were developed by the newly created Quality Commission. This commission includes representatives from the faculties and department, from areas of research and teaching, non-professorial teaching staff and the quality management office. All areas of the university are involved in the QMS. In parallel to the development of the QMS manual, work on a corresponding QMS was started and developed within the faculties, department, within university services as well as in the governing bodies.

The QMS manual is stored on the "Quality" website www.unilu.ch/qm under 'Dokumentation'. The QMS will continue to develop around this core in the coming weeks and months, and the website will be expanded accordingly. The Quality Management Office welcomes any feedback (quality@unilu.ch).
