Semester-Info in English

Start of lectures on Dies academicus
This year's Dies academicus will take place Thursday, 5th November 2015. Lectures will therefore start at 1:30pm as opposed to the regular time of 1.15pm.
You will receive an invitation by e-mail to the ceremony which will start at 10am at the KKL. (Wolfgang Schatz, Academic Director)
Show consideration
More than 4,000 people in one building: the only way that this can work smoothly is if we all show consideration for each other.
The rules can be found in the house regulations, and key security information is available on the website www.unilu.ch/universitaet/verwaltung/facility-management/sicherheit/
I would like to point out one rule in particular: please be considerate towards our wheelchair users and people with walking disabilities! (Esther Müller, Administrative Director)
Toilets for disabled people and the lift: waiting times
Breaks between lectures are very short – students with a disability rely therefore on the availability of the disabled toilets. Please keep these free. When a lift is needed between lectures to change floors, the waiting time for disabled students should not be too long. Please use the staircase whenever possible. Thank you very much! (Office of Equal Opportunity)
Next edition: 9th December 2015
The Semester info provides you with official announcements and information from the Executive Board of the University at the beginning and end of each semester. The faculties will contact you directly with information about lectures and the course of studies.
