These general time calculations are overlaid by your personal time periods, which are shaped by your individual goals, projects and life circumstances. Some of you are about to complete your studies and are already looking ahead to the professional world, others have just immersed themselves in the first months of their studies and have their first exams in front of them.

The University Council's Strategy 2023 to 2026 answers questions about the University's self-image, its goals and the way to achieve them. In his introduction to the dies academicus, Rector Bruno Staffelbach already provided initial insights into the strategy. Workstations for students during the exam revision period
Looking for a quiet space to read and study? From 27th December to 25th January, lecture halls 11, 12, 13 and 14 are reserved for students to study. The Tutorial room is available for group work.
Sunday opening times for students during exam preparation
The library will have special opening times: 18th December 2022 and 8th/15th January 2023 – from 9am to 5pm. University of Lucerne and PHLU students can gain access via the night entrance, and with a valid CampusCard. More info (pdf)
Master's programme 'Ethics'
The new Master's programme in 'Ethics' will start in autumn 2023. The programme is aimed at Bachelor graduates of all disciplines and also appeals to career changers. More info

Uni magazine 'cogito' no. 10
The main topic in the anniversary issue is 'digital', including an interview with Reto Hofstetter, Professor of Digital Marketing. The printed version of the university magazine will soon be available in the dispensers in the university/PH building and can be subscribed to free of charge. Practically all contents are also available online.
Call for applications for the LSUE 2023
From 1-6 June 2023, experts will meet with Master's students from all over the world at the University of Lucerne to discuss moral questions and ethical challenges across academic disciplines in a sustainable and systematic way in a global context. If necessary, you can change your language within UniPortal (German or English). The language you opt for will then apply to all of the bilingual communication that is sent out by the University of Lucerne.
