The Spring Term 2024 starts on 19 February 2024 and ends on 31 May 2024. You can find the exact semester dates here.
Registration via the e-learning platform Moodle is required for attending the courses in the Health Sciences degree programmes at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine. Enrollment starts two weeks before the start of each semester and is possible until two weeks after the start of the semester in the BSc Health Sciences programme and until two weeks after the start of the course in the MSc Health Sciences programme. Students who have registered for the course will receive access to course documents and course information from the lecturers.
Please make sure that you are enrolled in the "News & Announcements" course in Moodle. You will also receive information from us via News & Announcements directly to your @stud.unilu.ch e-mail address.
Mandatory registration for exams and courses starts on 1 May 2024!
Only those who have registered onUniPortal from 1 May to 15 May 2024 can take part in the examinations and obtain credits at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine (GMF). This regulation applies to all GMF courses (unless otherwise communicated in the course!).
Registration via UniPortal is also compulsory for courses that do not end with a written examination.
Registration is binding. Deregistration after 15 May is no longer possible.
!!! The registration and deregistration period runs from 1 May 2024 from 00.00 hrs to 15 May 2024 at 23.59 hrs !!!!
The examination dates and times can be found in the course catalogue and on the examination schedule. Changes will be communicated as soon as they are known. The examination schedule, instructions for UniPortal registration for examinations and courses, the date on which grades are announced and further information can be found on our examination website.
Please note that other faculties have different deadlines! Please contact the relevant faculty in advance to ensure that you do not miss any deadlines. Late registrations are also not possible at other faculties.
Announcement of grades
The grades for the Fall Term 2023 will be published by 15 February 2024. The grades can be viewed via the UniPortal. You will find the instructions on the website under the heading "Examinations".

Submission Bachelors- and Master's Thesis
Deadline for Master's Thesis in Spring 2024 is Monday, 15 April 2024. Further dates can be found on the website under Examinations.
Deadline for Bachelor's Thesis in Spring 2024 is Wednesday, 15 May 2024. Further details can be found on Moodle.
Bachelor in Health Sciences:
- Information Event 2. Practice Module Interprofessionality (Cohort 2022): Wednesday, 28. February 2024, from 08.30 - 10.00 a.m. at the University of Lucerne in Lecture Room 3.A05.
In this information event, the Practice Module Interprofessionality, the general requirements, the organisation and the related performance format are discussed. - Information Event Mandatory Elective Courses, Term Papers and Bachelor's Thesis: Monday, 22.
