Kholofelo Kugler ist Doktorandin im vom Europäischen Forschungsrat finanzierten Projekt Trade Law for the Data-Driven Economy (Trade Law 4.0) unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Mira Burri. Sie verfügt über mehr als 12 Jahre juristische Erfahrung und ist spezialisiert auf internationales Handelsrecht und Streitbeilegung. Kholofelo hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Wirtschaft und internationaler Politik, einen LL.B-Abschluss (cum laude), einen Master-Abschluss in internationalem Recht und Wirtschaft (summa cum laude) und einen LL.M-Abschluss (mit Auszeichnung). Sie ist in ihrem Heimatland Südafrika als Anwältin zugelassen.
