The University of Lucerne works with the authentication and authorisation infrastructure 'edu-ID' from SWITCH.
The edu-ID is linked to the user. It can be used for several universities and remains valid even after the end of studies or employment.

Login for services such as AlumniPortal, UniPortal, EZproxy or OLAT is only possible with the SWITCH edu-ID. 
The alumni account is automatically linked to Switch edu-ID when joining the ALUMNI organisation.
Those who became members of the ALUMNI organisation before 2019 will find instructions on how to link the edu-ID to the alumni account on the migration website. Please follow the individual steps.
The implementation at Swiss universities was carried out nationwide and was completed at the end of 2020.
