Facility Management looks after the entire University/PH building and the building surroundings as well as the other locations of the University of Lucerne with regard to building services, building maintenance and building upkeep. In terms of safety, it has the task of first intervention in emergencies.

Facility management is responsible for the ongoing operation and maintenance of buildings and their technical facilities and installations. This is the specialist unit for technical issues relating to building use, and provides professional, service-oriented caretaking services to support the university’s administration and teaching and research activities as well as the areas in the Uni/PH building.
