Support Program
Students at the University of Lucerne have access to a number of funding and support programs in the area of sustainability.
Focus Sustainability is the national center for student engagement in the field of sustainability. The center is an initiative of the two national student organizations VSN | FDD | FSS and VSS | UNES | USU.
The vision of Focus Sustainability is to inspire and empower all students in Switzerland to make a long-term commitment to sustainability. Students and universities should work together with social actors to drive change towards sustainable universities and a sustainable society.
Focus Sustainability offers exciting workshops on the topic of sustainability so that specialist knowledge and skills can be acquired and further developed. Most of the offers are open to all students at Swiss universities and are free of charge. The program for the respective semester can be found on the Focus Sustainability event page.

The funding program "U Change - Student Initiatives for Sustainable Development", financed by the federal government, promotes the implementation of project ideas by students at Swiss universities. The leading house of U Change is the Network for Transdisciplinary Research (td-net) of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences.
