Studied Religious Studies with a focus on the Cultural History of Islam in Erfurt. Doctorate in Islamic Studies at the University of Bern (2011). 2011-2013 research assistant at the Institute of Advanced Study in the Humanities and the Social Sciences and the Institute for Practical Theology at the University of Bern as well as the Erlangen Center for Islam and Law in Europe (EZIRE) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Since 2013 researcher of the Academic Services (later General Secretariat) of the University of Lucerne and from 2018 responsible for the research information system FIS. Since 2014 research assistant at the Department of Religious Studies and from 2015 researcher at the Institute for Empirical Religious Studies of the University of Bern and since 2021 coordinator and study advisor at the Centre for Religion, Economics and Politics.

- Xenosophia and Xenophobia in and between Abrahamic Religions. Project at the University of Berne (Faculty of theology, Chair of Empiric Research of Religion and Theory of Interreligious Communication).
- PROMETEE – Understanding Property in Moslem Transitional Environments. Project at the Erlangen Centre for Islam and Law in Europe (EZIRE) of the University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
