The Lucerne Academy for Human Rights Implementation is delighted to announce its collaboration with the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria in the framework of the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition.

The Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition has been presented every year for the past eleven years, and has become a leading human rights educational event. It is unique in bringing together some of the brightest law students from universities around the globe to debate contemporary human rights issues on the basis of a common UN human rights system, influenced by national and regional approaches.

The Lucerne Academy is offering two scholarships (full tuition waiver of 1800 Swiss Francs per student) for the winning team of the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition to participate in the Lucerne Academy for Human Rights Implementation 2020.
