In 2009, a doctoral programme (ProDoc "Text and Normativity") run by the University of Lucerne was approved by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) research council. Seven doctoral positions have been funded since 2010 as part of this interdisciplinary project. The follow-up "TeNOR – Text and Normativity postgraduate programme" with 28 doctoral and postdoctoral candidates has been funded by the research council using CRUS funds since 2013.
