At the start of the spring semester, the Faculty of Law launched a Visiting Fellowship Programme. As part of the University of Lucerne's internationalisation strategy, the Faculty aims to attract up-and-coming and established researchers from all over the world to spend time in Lucerne. The programme's goal is to foster academic exchange, build international networks, and develop collaborative research projects.

Visiting fellows stay for a period of one to twelve months and are fully integrated into the Faculty's research and teaching activities. To participate, applicants must have completed a doctoral degree and be supported by a faculty member who serves as their mentor. Fellows benefit from the academic expertise of the faculty and the university's excellent infrastructure.

“We look forward to the diverse perspectives and innovative ideas our Visiting Fellows will bring,” says Professor Mira Burri, Director of Internationalisation at the Faculty and head of the programme.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with no fixed deadlines.
