In addition to mobility programmes, the international integration of the University of Lucerne is further fostered through memberships in (inter-)national higher education organisations.
swissuniversities works to strengthen and enhance collaboration among Swiss institutions of higher education and promotes a common voice on educational issues in Switzerland. Furthermore, swissuniversities performs coordination tasks and acts on the international level as the national rectors' conference for all universities, universities of applied science and universities of teacher education in Switzerland.
European University Association EUA
The EUA represents and supports higher education institutions in 46 countries, providing them with a unique forum to cooperate and keep abreast of the latest trends in higher education and research policies.
European Association for International Education EAIE
The EAIE is a non-profit organisation whose main aim is the stimulation and facilitation of the internationalisation of higher education in Europe and around the world. It also aims to meet the professional needs of individuals active in international education.
