Overview jobs
The new students are given an overview of the University of Lucerne and the city. To this end, the group is guided through the university building and introduced to all the essentials. A guide is provided. Afterwards, the students accompany the new students to lunch and then guide them through the city of Lucerne. A guide (pdf) is also available for this.
Date: February and September
Durartion: 4.5 hours
Salary: CHF 25.00/hour
The WiLu student organisation aims to connect students with each other and answer any questions directly. To this end, a 4-member board organises several events a year, among other things. Within the board, the tasks are separated even more clearly, so that, for example, one person holds the presidency and another represents WiLu in the faculty assembly.

Durartion: 2 hours per week on average
Salary: approximately CHF 600.00 per semester
The cantonal schools are generally very interested in inviting former school leavers to talk about their choice of degree programme. The students present their chosen degree programme at their former cantonal school and provide information.

The University of Lucerne takes part in several graduation fairs throughout the year. The University is represented by students and student counsellors.

Some cantonal schools organise their own study choice events. At these events, the universities are given the opportunity to present themselves at a stand or similar. The university is always represented by students.

Salary: CHF 25.00/hour
Classes from cantonal schools are given the opportunity to visit the University of Lucerne for approximately one hour. The tour is led by a student.
- Welcome school classes in front of the university
- Guide them through the building (map available)
- Present study programmes
- If possible, a short visit to the auditorium
- Hand out university bag with brochures & give-aways (are prepared)
- Answer questions at any time
