After obtaining a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Zurich of Applied Sciences, Tamara Erhardt transferred to the University of Lucerne for her Master's degree. She completed her Master's degree in Political Economy in winter 2022. Alongside her Master's degree, Tamara Erhardt completed an internship at the Swiss National Bank.

Since March 2022, she is working at the Faculty of Economic Sciences as a research assistant for Prof. Dr. Christoph A. Schaltegger. In addition, she is simultaneously employed as a doctoral candidate in the area of social policy at the Institute for Swiss Economic Policy.
