Alejandra Rodriguez Morales is a research assistant and a PhD student for Prof. Manuel Oechslin’s chair for in International Economics since October 2022. She holds a BA in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid with a student exchange at Graz University, and a MSc in Development and Economic Growth, studying the first year at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the second year at Lund University. During her studies, she also completed an internship as an economic analyst for a Spanish consulting firm in 2020, and as a financial markets analyst at the second largest bank in Spain in 2021.
Currently, her research interests focus on economic development, natural resource management, economic policy, and trade between the Global North and the Global South, with a special interest in the case of Latin America and the Caribbean.
