Kinderuni 2025: Insight into the world of science
The 16th Lucerne Children's University (Kinderuni) lecture series kicks off on March 21. Lecturers from the University and the Swiss Paraplegic Centre will teach children about neuroscience, ethics, medicine and church history in an age-appropriate and accessible way.
"Is my blue your blue?" (Professor Matthias Ertl), "What is the difference between a robot and a human being? Ethical considerations" (Professor G. Kirchschläger), "What is paraplegia" (Professor Björn Zörner) and "Why do we celebrate New Year's Eve? A search for clues in church history" (Professor David Neuhold) - these are the topics of the four lectures. Primary school children in grades 4 to 6 are invited to attend the Kinderuni. The lectures take place between 21 March and 11 April on Friday afternoons from 4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. Parents won't be allowed to attend the lectures.
Note: all lectures are held in German.
Participation in the Kinderuni is free of charge. Places are limited. Further information and registration: www.unilu.ch/kinderuni
