Alexander Gian-Carlo Baumann studied Law and Economics and International Management at the University of St.Gallen and the University of Sydney. He worked in Sydney and Munich in the areas of sustainability, human rights and international taxation, and in Zurich at a district court and two business law firms. Alexander Gian-Carlo Baumann is a Research Associate at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Klaus Mathis and Associate Director of the Lucerne Graduate Academy for Law and Economics. He is completing his doctorate on the Law and Economics of transnational corporate responsibility, and spent 2023 as a Visiting Researcher at Erasmus School of Law in Rotterdam and the Human Rights Entrepreneurs and Incubator Clinic at Harvard Law School in Cambridge.
