Simon Weigold holds a Bachelor's degree in Media Management (Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media) and  a Master's degree in Computational Social Sciences (University of Lucerne). Previously, he has worked in consulting, market research, and data science.

Since September 2023, he has been involved in the SNF project Choice of Law Dataverse, led by Prof. Dr. Daniel Girsberger and Agatha Brandão de Oliveira.
