Melina Daniela Schwab studied law at the Universities of Lucerne and the University of Edinburgh (SEMP semester) from 2014 to 2019, participating in the primius program. After graduation, she completed legal internships at the Swiss Federal Court in Lausanne, the District Court Kriens as well as in a law firm in Lucerne. In November 2021, she was admitted to the bar of the Canton of Lucerne and subsequently worked as an attorney at law in a law firm in Lucerne for just over a year.

Since July 2023, Melina Daniela Schwab has been a research assistant at the Chair of Swiss and International Private, Commercial and Procedural Law and Comparative Private Law of Prof. Dr. Daniel Girsberger at the University of Lucerne.
