Anne-Cathrine Tanner was a student at the University of St. Gallen specialising in law and economics. She graduated with a Master's degree in 2013. During her studies she worked as a student research assistant at the Law Faculty of the University of St. Gallen. Since 2013, she holds a teaching assistantship for private law. After her graduation, she was employed by a Swiss private bank and subsequently completed internships with the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and the district court Werdenberg-Sarganserland. Following her admission to the bar in Switzerland in 2016, she worked as an associate attorney with an international corporate law firm in Zurich.
Since June 2018, Anne-Cathrine Tanner works as an academic assistant and Ph.D. student at the Chair for Public and Economic Law of Prof. Dr. Nicolas Diebold at the University of Lucerne.
