Corinne Reber studied law in Zurich (Master of Law) and Maastricht (NL), specialising in globalisation and human rights (LL.M.). From 2013 to 2016, she worked as a research assistant at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and subsequently at the Europa Institut at the University of Zurich. These experiences were followed by an internship at the District Court of Zurich and a traineeship at the law firm Advokatur Kanonengasse. In 2019, Corinne Reber was employed as a Senior Legal Associate at the UNHCR Office for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. After being admitted to the bar in the Canton of Zurich in September 2020, she worked at Freiplatzaktion Zürich as a legal advisor (until February 2021). At the same time, she worked as a legal assistant at Advokatur Kanonengasse, and from April 2021 as attorney-at-law specialising in migration law.
Since March 2022, Corinne Reber has been a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Martina Caroni, LL.M. (Yale), while at the same time being employed at the Europa Institut at the University of Zurich. In addition, she is volunteering for the Freiplatzaktion Zürich, the associations Pikett Asyl and Pikett Administrativhaft, and Solidarité sans frontières.
