Launch of the digitaltradelaw.ch website
The Trade Law 4.0 team, led by Prof. Dr. Mira Burri, is happy to announce the launch of their website digitaltradelaw.ch.
The Trade Law 4.0 (Trade Law for the Data-Driven Economy) project addresses the role of global trade law in regulating the data-driven economy by conducting research along three interrelated strands: (1) Understanding the implications of digital disruption 4.0 for trade law 1.0 and vice versa; (2) Reconciling economic and non-economic objectives in the data-driven economy; and (3) Designing trade law for the digital future.
The website digitaltradelaw.ch will feature research by Trade Law 4.0 team members and associated fellows. It will also feature updates to the TAPED dataset (Trade Agreements Provisions on Electronic Commerce and Data), which collects all trade agreements since 2000 and maps their provisions relevant for digital trade and its regulation.
The Trade Law 4.0 project is sponsored by the European Research Council (ERC) under an ERC Consolidator Grant and scheduled to run from 2021 to 2026.
