The CCR aims to help analyse and solve conflicts. Building on procedural law, the CCR aspires to a better understanding of the causes of and potential solutions to conflicts. Interdisciplinary collaboration complements and strengthens jurisprudential contributions on the topic of conflict resolution.
The CCR undertakes research into the methods and rules of conflict resolution. It is particularly interested in providing academic support for the standardisation of Swiss civil procedure law, new legal developments and legislative procedures.
The CCR offers practical further education through workshops, conferences and courses. The CCR’s further education events are based on the center’s experience of theory and practice.
The CCR produces publications on procedural research topics, and also supports and comments on legislation and practice.
