Research
Doctoral thesis:
"Representation by Religious Community Leaders at the Swiss Federal level"
Research Interest:
I am interested in the development of religious dialogue, its contribution to social capital and potential in improving social cohesion. Documenting and understanding how religions relate to each other and the state and how they contribute to identity is a part of this interest. As someone actively involved in interreligious dialogue both with the secular state and amongst religions I am interested in academic exploration of this topic. My other interest is specifically how Switzerland’s unusual history has informed the development of its culture and history and its consequent relationship with religions and approach to multiculturalism and pluralism.
