CV

Álvaro holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute. Previously, he obtained a BA in Law and a BA in Political Science from the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville and a MSc in Social Sciences from the IC3JM of the University Carlos III of Madrid. In addition, he has been a visiting fellow at the European Institute of the London School of Economics and Political Science and collaborated in various ERC-funded projects over his doctoral studies. Since December 2022, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Lucerne, where he works in the project DIGIPOL, led by Prof. Dr. Alexander Trechsel.
