Die französischen „Poststrukturalisten“ sind heute als Wegbereiter des Postfaktischen verschrieen. Einer von ihnen aber scheint dagegen immun zu sein: Michel Foucaults (1926–1984) Methoden der Diskursanalyse und Genealogie, seine Studien über Wissenschaftsgeschichte, Wahnsinn und Justiz sind zu kanonischen Grundlagen der Geschichts-, Literatur- und Kulturwissenschaft geworden. Ein Dritteljahrhundert nach Foucaults Tod ist soeben der vierte und letzte Band von dessen „Geschichte der Sexualität“ unter dem Titel „Die Geständnisse des Fleisches“ erschienen. Im Café Philo beschäftigen wir uns damit und halten Rückschau auf die ganze Tetralogie. Was haben uns  Foucaults kritische Hinterfragung der sexuellen Befreiung und sein Begriff der „Selbstsorge“ zu sagen? Und was macht ihn zum unverzichtbaren Klassiker der Geisteswissenschaften? (M.
