Chair of Cultural Studies
Cultural Studies scholars deal with all areas of human life: politics, economy, media, art, literature, science, technology. They use texts, images and objects to infer humans’ social relationships, knowledge systems and self-image. Students of Cultural Studies learn to analyse, understand and communicate complex cultural phenomena. The course is interdisciplinary, but also offers the opportunity for deeper work in one of the discipline’s programmes.
More information about the degree program is available in German. Also check our English description of Cultural Studies in Lucerne.
