Noel Ackermann has completed his master's degree in economics at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) in 2021. Before that, he had completed the bachelor's program at the HSG with the same focus. Alongside his studies, he was able to work part-time on several projects at the Swiss Institute for International Economics and Applied Economic Resesarch (SIAW-HSG), where data processing and data analysis in the field of political economics was pivotal. With a data-specific focus during his studies, he combined both his master's thesis and his bachelor's thesis with data processing methods such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and statistical models. After completing his master's degree, he completed an internship at VP Bank as an analyst in the Chief Investment Office.
