Kathleen Ostheim holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Webster University in Geneva. Following this, she completed a Master’s in Health Sciences at University of Lucerne, with a Major in Health Communication.
longside her studies, she has worked within various research teams at Swiss Paraplegic Research in Nottwil. Additionally, she was also part of the local organizing committee of ISLCCC 2024 (International Symposium on Late Complications after Childhood Cancer) held in Lucerne.
In summer 2024, she began her PhD in Health Sciences at University of Lucerne. She is working on the e-QuoL project. The aim of this European project is to develop e-health tools for childhood cancer survivors and their loved ones. Through the creation of these online support platforms, high quality psychosocial resources and information will be made available across Europe.
