Xiaoying Xu is a senior research scientist holding a PhD in Molecular biology. Before joining University of Lucerne, Xiaoying worked as a Postdoc at the University of Geneva, with a focused interest in bioinformatics and genomic data analysis.
Xiaoying completed her PhD in University of Lausanne. During her PhD, her major research interests are in human cancer genetics and personalized medicine. She tried to understand the potential and crucial genetic variances that cause the different cancer susceptibility among populations. She developed strong cross field research skills in bioinformatics, cellular experimentation and animal manipulation.
During Xiaoying’s Master study in University of Lausanne, she has a focused interest in transgenic gene expression stability and augmentation.
