Asma MohamedSharif is a medical doctor from Sudan. March 2016, she earned master of public health at AlNeelain University, Khartoum, Sudan. She is a lecturer at AlNeelain University. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality CPHQ, also she holds a Professional Diploma in Infection Control (PDIC) and Diploma of Research Methodology and Ethics. Asma is SAFRI fellow, Sub-Saharan Africa FAIMER Regional Institute (SAFRI) Fellowship programme, which is funded by Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER).
Between 2015-2020, she appointed in different position related to the quality improvement, she was the quality officer at faculty of medicine, the quality and infection control director at the university hospital and the Deputy Dean of the quality and professional development deanship at AlNeelian University. Alongside working, she was a student assistant helping the conduct of projects of healthcare improvement and medical education development.
She worked in parallel as an evidence based healthcare trainer at Altababa Training Center, organization concern with evidence based healthcare, leadership empowerment and organization development. She was the director and the founder of clinical audit faculty.
Currently, Asma is part of Professor Armin Gemperli team, working as a PhD student at the University of Lucerne since September 2020. Her PhD project focuses on the Development of a healthcare transition model for low resource settings. Asma has received funding from the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for Foreign Scholars and Artists ESKAS.
