The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine is the academic center of a network of partners in the health sector in the Canton of Lucerne and in Central Switzerland. This includes Swiss Paraplegic Research and the Swiss Paraplegic Centre in Nottwil, the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital with sites in Lucerne, Sursee and Wolhusen, Lucerne Psychiatry and the Hirslanden Klinik St. Anna.

As part of the "Gesundheitscluster Zentralschweiz", we cooperate with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and XUND in the areas of research, education and knowledge transfer. At a national level, the faculty has various cooperation projects with partners from science, policy, and the health sector. Internationally, the faculty cooperates with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, among others.
