CV
Lea Rutishauser studied business administration and holds a doctorate in human resource management from the University of Zurich. She is an experienced lecturer and was part of and leading various research projects on talent management, leader-member exchange, cross-cultural management, organizational change and employee retention. Lea Rutishauser is co-founder and managing director of the start-up HR ConScience and has been working in HR Development at Denner AG since 2023.
Research
Lea Rutishauser was project member of the CTI financed research project “Innovative HR Concept for Export Development in China”. Currently, she is project manager of an ongoing project about talent management. Her research focus lies in employee relationships at the workplace such as leader-member exchange, team-member exchange, and co-worker support. Within this area of interest, she does research on cross-cultural management, organizational change, talent management, and employee retention.

The talent recipe: Multi-actor perspective on managing paradoxes of talent identification in organization
Identifying and managing talented individuals has been a major concern for line managers and a top priority for CEOs. This project focuses on the bedrock of Talent Management: Talent identification. In this project we explore how organizations identify their talents and what contextual factors shape these decisions. 2022–2026 -
