Claudio Zihlmann studied Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich (UZH) and Business Management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He is currently working as head of economic policy at the Zurich Chamber of Commerce ZHK. He previously held various positions in private companies in the consumer goods and financial industries (Zürcher Kantonalbank, Procter&Gamble, UBS) and gained a lot of experience on the front lines as well as in central staff functions. The focus of his academic work at the University of Lucerne is on the Swiss Militia system with a distinct focus on the Swiss political militia system. Claudio Zihlmann also led the Master of Advanced Studies in Effective Leadership at the University of Lucerne for three years as program manager in collaboration with the Army's Higher Cadre Training HKA.
