Psychosocial outcomes of childhood cancer
Our research group at the University of Lucerne in Switzerland has focused on the psychosocial aspects of a diagnosis of cancer in childhood. Since 2009, we have addressed psychological distress and social outcomes in childhood cancer survivors and their parents, on follow-up care and support services, and starting in 2019 on grandparent of childhood cancer patients.
We are closely collaborating with all Paediatric Oncology clinics in Switzerland, with the Swiss Childhood Cancer Registry, with parents organisation (www.kinderkrebshilfe.ch) and the umbrella organisation Childhood Cancer Switzerland.
We are also closely collaborating with PanCare.
