People migrating to Europe – be it as refugees or in search of work opportunities – are facing both visible and invisible walls. Marie McAuliffe, Head of the Migration Policy Research Division in International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Chloé Smith, a lawyer with the Collectif de défense (Geneva) will discuss current challenges and issues at stake globally and what the situation ist locally in Switzerland. Dr. Peter Larsen (Department of Anthropology, University of Lucerne) will moderate the debate.
