Since 2019, the SGHN has been engaged in the "Sex and Gender Integration in the Swiss Medical Curriculum" project, which was supported by swissuniversities. The objective of this project is to promote the integration of gender perspectives in health and medical education. The constituent assembly is scheduled to take place on 10 September 2024 at the University of Lucerne, during which the statutes will be adopted and representatives elected.

With over 160 members from various areas of Switzerland, the formalisation is intended to create a stronger structure. The aim is to gain greater visibility in order to promote the integration of gender aspects in the healthcare sector. Interested parties are invited to attend the meeting and to stand for election.
